I'm participating in Judy's 2011 UFO Challenge, and our first assignment was #6 on our UFO lists. My #6 was a set of pink B-a-D blocks ... not one of my favorite block sets, but all those blocks do need to be used, don't they? And this project finished up the last of that very vivid pink stripe -- what was I thinking when I bought it?! -- I'm glad it's GONE!!!
This quilt finished up at 50" x 70" and has been donated to Doves, our local domestic violence shelter, where it will comfort and cheer someone. I hope next month's challenge number will be for a block set I like :)

It may not be your cup of tea Jeanne - but it works well together and I'm sure someone will really love it's cheeriness
You did a great job with a fabric color you didn't love.
Good to get one that you don't like out of the way early in the year ;)
I think this is a perfectly lovely quilt. Bless you for sending it out in the world to make someone else happy. I am sure that the lady who gets it will feel comfort that some other woman feels for her plight.
pinks aren't my favorite colors either, but you made this work so well-I like it and am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
