The temps are dipping below freezing most nights now, and the meadow is just about done blooming for the season.  Yesterday I brought in a pot of herbs -- parsley, rosemary, basil and chives -- and I'm hoping they'll grow inside over the winter.

I sewed up five B-a-D blocks this afternoon, despite the power going out for a while.  (I'm soooo trying to get ahead/get done with that project!)  I thought the breaking news story was amusing  because it involved a large bird and a fisherman.  Ha, Bear Valley ... is this life in the fast lane or what?!
