Back to winter

Look at what we woke up to this morning: 4 or 5 inches of new snow!! This will put us over the 10 foot mark for the season -- and all of that had already melted and disappeared, we were enjoying spring yesterday. Ah, well, it's good for the forest and the lake.

See my poor little daffodils buried there beneath the aspens?

This will melt too, by midweek -- the daytime temps get up into the 50s. What an initiation winter we've had, the most snow here since 1969!

OH MY GOSH!!! It looks gorgeous tho.--poor daffodils, this is the first spring that mine didn't get snowed on and ruined in many seasons. I always think they bloom just a few weeks too early! 10 feet of snow- oh my!
