I did it! Finished the little Flurry lap robe just in time to end the year. Mother will use it during January, along with the Snowflake wallhanging I made last month.

That's it for quilting this year, but I'm gearing up for my B-a-D 2010 challenge.

Bear Valley has been bustling with holiday visitors for the past two weeks. The winter sports season is in full gear. The roads are full of traffic, the shops and restaurants are crowded ... but we're loving being cozy at home, instead of being just guests like we were for so many years. It's still such a wonderment: we LIVE here!!

1. My favorite warm wool cardigan (AKA my Bag Lady sweater)
2. Hot fragrant chai tea
3. Bright moonlight reflecting off the snow

what wonderful quilts for your mom!!! She will LOVE them...and congrats on completing them before the new year! always fun to check off a few more projects, if only to add twice as many to the list :)
i received the latest Quilt block a day calendar, but im pretty sure i wont be working on it each day. I will, however, enjoy following along as you do it. Good Luck and Happy New Year!
