It was a delightful surprise to have Dave, Jessica and Crazy Frankie come up for a quick overnight visit! Their work schedules won't permit them to be with us for Christmas, so this was an unexpected bonus visit. (But whew -- all hell breaks loose when Frankie's here!!)
I did manage to finish this week's Friday Block Party assignment late last night, though, despite the general chaos.It's a 12" block called Four Square. I used green and tan fabrics so it would coordinate with some other 12" blocks I have in my collection. I'm DETERMINED to carve out a creative time slot for myself every day in 2010, so I'm really trying to establish that baseline now, even if it's just one hour at a time.

I love patterns that do that positive-negative thing, dark on light, light on dark. Fun!
