1 cup boiling water
1/4 cup bulgur wheat
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons yeast
3 cups bread flour
In a large bowl, pour boiling water over dry bulgur.
Let mixture soak and cool for about 15 minutes to soften bulgur.
Add remaining ingredients and combine to form dough.
Knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about an hour, until almost doubled.
Prepare an 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" pan with nonstick spray.
Form dough into loaf and place in pan.
Cover with greased plastic wrap and let rise again until 1" above rim of pan, about 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350*.
Bake bread for about 35 minutes, until lightly browned.
Turn out onto rack to cool completely before slicing.
1 loaf, about 10 - 12 slices
