Boho Heart

Way back in early December I was wandering through my studio, trying to choose something to work on.  At that time, I came up with Boho Heart and Rainbow 9-patches.  Then the holiday season got busy, and I didn't return to either project box.

I finally had the opportunity today to focus and make decisions about sewing time.  The 9-ps will be delegated to my RSC22 category, which I'll be starting later this week.  I also opened the Boho Heart tub and spent time reacquainting myself with all that stuff -- fabric, book, notes, templates.

I started Boho Heart a year ago with good intentions.  It's a complicated and relatively large quilt project and needs concentration.  Last spring when we suddenly plunged into packing and moving, I put it all away and never returned to it.  It took me a little while today to decipher my notes and reestablish my color plan.  The section I will be working on calls for 27 blocks of varying sizes.  I pieced five of them today, so I'm off and running.  And now that I have my head back in the game, I'm looking forward to finishing Boho Heart!

Love the bright colors. It looks complicated and large but so pretty. It's rewarding working on a difficult quilt. I get tons of satisfaction in challenging myself. When you are finished, where will you hang this or do you use your quilts only on the bed? Look forward to seeing progress reports.
