I rarely use panels for quiltmaking, but Dave and Jess are big Disney fans, and Disneyland has been a feature of many of the special moments of their life -- he even proposed to her in front of
Sleeping Beauty Castle!
I just finished this third (and final) Mickey quilt for them -- for the new grandson who will be arriving two weeks from today!

Two weeks?! Time has passed so quickly. Another boy will be great. We have 3 sons. I thought I wanted a girl but I was wrong. Boys are terrific. We now have lovely daughter in laws that I love too. Your quilts are very cute. All are different but so cute.
I still feel badly that you left your lovely home in California but family is what it's all about. We live here in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah because this is where our children and grandkids are. Life goes by too quickly. Great Mickey quilt.
I must admit to having rather a soft spot for Mickey too - but for a different reason. My maiden name is Michie (pronounced 'Mickey'). Love your quilts!
