Looking Ahead ...
Woohoo -- a new year! I'm brimming with ideas and inspirations, so many possibilities!
Sew-alongs ~
Cheddarback -- we're on Month 11 of 14, so this one is approaching the finish line
Ella Maria Deacon -- ongoing and quite challenging, a long ways to go on this one
RSC -- annual color/scrapbuster challenge, beginning again in January with green
Yankee Notions -- Barbara Brackman's latest Civil War themed BOM, this one will offer pieced blocks
Blockheads III -- 56 blocks being presented weekly by Moda Fabrics designers
Pieces From the Past -- 20 blocks with a 1930s theme
Cassandra's Circle -- another Barbara Brackman Civil War themed BOM, this one will feature applique blocks
And notes regarding some of my aspirations for the coming year, just thinking out loud here ~
1. Work down scraps, and at least try to maintain order in sewing room (!!!)
2, Develop a UFO plan of attack -- balance finishes w/ new starts
3. These need more work: hand applique, Spanish, rye bread baking
4. Continue monthly donation quilt, also participate with lotto blocks
6. Enjoy cooking and baking, especially work healthy and aim for '20 in 20'
7. Designate daily meditation and reading time
8. Wardrobe style -- aprons/smocks? My wardrobe has definitely lapsed into "convenient and comfortable mode", needs some sparking up! Cute article about being costumey HERE
9. Make progress on bucket list, especially travel. Train trip to Boston this year?
10. Look at the sky!
Master a new skill: paper piecing

Great list! S'mores are doing a 20 in 20 challenge to finish 20 projects. I think I'm going to make that 20 pounds in 20!
Fun sew alongs - and a good set of goals for you to aspire to. I haven't set any because I know I'm destined for failure before I start. Another reason I never make news year's resolutations.
