RSC15 - May/green

The RSC15 color for May is going to be
GREEN

and I got off to a good start  this week with my monthly quota of rainbow reel blocks.  I only need one more row (five more blocks) for this set and then I can move forward with a top.

My other 2015 RSC block sets (steps, mini bows, birds, crackers) haven't seen much action recently. My sewing time has shifted gears dramatically since I started doing work for the shop rather than my own projects.  I like what I'm doing now, but I don't have much energy left for puttering and playing after I finish each day's commission work.  And the whole picking and choosing for monthly goal-setting seems to be out the window now -- I just need to sew whatever is next on the list, period.

Great blocks. Looking forward to seeing a colorful scrappy quilt of these blocks in December : )

Looks like you had some FUN with GREEN! Good luck finishing the last few blocks that you need to start on your quilt top.

It's always nice to get paid to do what you love but it does have a way of cutting into doing what you WANT to do. Here's hoping you can find a comfortable balance between the two.
