I continue to putter along with the Scrappy Stars Stitchalong being hostessed by Taryn at Reproquiltlover. My blocks fall into the "inspired by" range rather than attempting to be close copies of the original blocks. I don't have nearly as many different plaids in my stash as the vintage quilt seems to contain.

The next challenge block should be released later today or tomorrow.

Your blocks are so fun, Jeanne. I think I'm going to have to go with the "loosely inspired by" attitude, too. I have a lot of plaids but not many are like the ones in Taryn's quilt. I think I will try to keep one aspect of the fabrics, either similar color, or similar print or plaid, etc., but with the fabrics I have, that's probably the best I can do. It's all fun!
