Independence Day

Have a safe celebration.

Sorry -- not feeling at all patriotic this year.

Happy 4th July nonetheless, Jeanne.
Stay confident, times are changing, there will be better days, I'm sure.
Some limits have been broken, consciences are awakening, it can't go on like this, anyway...
In the meantime, enjoy your beautiful home and garden, stay safe and take care.
Heartful thoughts,
xoxo

Me either...rather feeling sad, mad and disheartened...but keeping on hoping that things will change. "...it was the worst of times"...
this too shall pass....Happy 4th anyway....

I imagine it's pretty hard to feel patriotic at the moment - hope you have an enjoyable day anyway. Just try not to think too much about what's going on around you.

Happy 4th of July. I do feel patriotic...no matter the circumstances. I'm a 1st generation American. My parents and sisters came from England in 1950 and then I was born. My parents loved England but dad often said he could never have been as successful in England as he was in the USA. More opportunity in this country. I've been to several countries in Europe and spent 10 days in Russia. Wow, everyone should visit Russia! You would realize how GREAT this country is and how much freedom we have. God bless the USA. Patty, your settings are no-reply. I'm sorry that we don't see the current conditions in the US the same way. I do realize how great this country is supposed to be, but I don't feel that it is like that these days.
