BIG Buckeye Beauty!

Whew!  I've been trudging along on this top for a looooong time.  It has 1728 pieces ... and I only reversed three of the blocks as I was going along :)  Right now it's about 105" square, so it's a GIANT!  I'm thinking it will end up at about 98" - 99", with quilting take-up and shrinkage from washing.

It's destined for the newly-redecorated guest room upstairs, but it'll be a while yet before it's finally in place -- it still needs to be quilted and bound.

Oh, my goodness! That is beautiful, but it simply blows my mind how much time went into that beauty.

You did a wonderful job with it. Lucky spare room! :)

I love your quilt! It is a perfect scrappy quilt, my favorite kind. I also like the two purple quilt tops you recently finished. Do you quilt by hand, sewing or quilting machine?

Beautiful! And Huge! And Complicated. It almost makes my eyes cross. What an accomplishment this will be.

Absolutely stunning. A simple block but so wonderfully scrappy. Well done, Jeanne. And Hurray for two more B-A-D tops from your project last year.

Good job - any dent in your stash?

I'm working on one with plaid shirtlings (shirtlings typo sounds like little baby shirtings!) Anyway, I have 4 more blocks to go then to come lup with a border or ??? Looks like yours will be borderless? I LOVE all those tans/browns - they always appear so restful.
