A completion

Woohoo -- got this one across the finish line today -- fresh out of the dryer!  I was worried about it lapsing into UFO-dom, so I made the effort and got it quilted and bound. The woven Fableism fabrics are especially soft and snuggly.

Sigh. Very little getting done in the quilt making department anymore.

Already 32 blocks in this set!

I have a HUGE amount of red fabric -- maybe I'll make progress this month with my ongoing goal of stash reduction.

Embroidery

 

The last of the twelve stitch samplers is done!!!! This one was intense -- so much wrapping and filling and weaving, my fingertips hurt!  Not really *done* though: once I make decisions about how I'm going to use this assortment of small samplers, I'll move on to border stitching to unify the set.

I'm really enjoying embroidery at this season of my life.  It's small and slow and portable.  I have some other sampler sets similar to this one, so many more hours of stitching to look forward to.
