The series is introduced as a celebration of women journalists reporting on the Civil War. I suspect women's equality will emerge as a sub-theme as well.

I always love your quilting endeavers. I am hoping that you are far from the firest that are raging right now; and my heart breaks for those who are suffering such tragedy.
