SOURDOUGH BUTTERY CRACKERS
3/4 cup sourdough starter
1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) butter, melted and cooled
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 375*.
Combine all ingredients to form a soft dough.
Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper.
Roll out evenly to 1/16" thickness.
Cut into shape and prick with fork.
Transfer on bottom parchment to baking sheet.
Sprinkle top with additional salt to taste if desired.
Bake about 18 minutes at 375* until golden.
Watch carefully so they don't get too brown.
Cool completely before storing in airtight container.
About 3 dozen crackers
