RSC21: February - Yellow

Well, this isn't exactly 'yellow' but it is the completion of an old RSC project.  The last time I had these blocks out was late 2019.  I'm trying to finish up some dormant UFOs, so here we are with one done for February.

I like doing Burgoyne Surrounded blocks -- all rectangles, and very orderly, easy to piece.  This is the second Burgoyne quilt I've made, and I will definitely keep it on my list of blocks to do again someday.

Very pretty! And there's yellow in it so it should count for the monthly challenge.

Such a fun block. So glad that you were able to finish up your old project. Crossing quilts off the list is nice because it lets you add new projects as they come up.

Congrats on finishing a UFO. I love Burgoyne Surrounded too. I did a wall hanging of only four blocks and I was hooked. I know one day, I'll have one on my bed. Love the scrappy colours of yours. Very well done. ;^)

That looks great! I love how different color placements make each block look unique. Congratulations on finishing it up!

What a wonderful RSC finish! Great job and doesn't it feel great to have a newly finished off quilt to snuggle under.

I’ve admired though never made a Burgoyne block. Love your scrappy version.

I don't remember seeing a scrappy version of this block. It is really striking. Great inspiration!

It's gorgeous! This has been on my bucket list for years. I have too many projects in the mix as usual, so thanks for finishing yours!

I love it and now I want to make one! I see that you used colored rectangles instead of the traditional white. I like that effect a lot.
