Well, I wasn't intending to do Rainbow Scrap Challenge this year, but here it is: Saturday, and here I am: rainbowing. No explanation, just habit I guess.
The January color is PINK, and wouldn't you know it? -- I do have pink scraps.😉 I'll start the year off with some half log cabins, and see where things go from here. Angela is planning to offer a punctuation-themed sew-along called FULL STOP, and shared the first block -- a cute 'HASHTAG' -- so that may be next.

I like your blocks—I find that shape more interesting than string blocks. I have a lot of scraps too!
I wasn't going to join either--BUT when I saw that Punctuation quilt-I was "in"!! I may just do that row quilt this year as I have a lot of UFO's all calling my name. Nice blocks you've started with...hugs, Julierose

I love your wonky half log cabins! They are indeed more interesting than traditional string blocks. They’re making me itch to do some myself!!

Funny how our best intentions tend to go off the rails when we're not looking. I said I wasn't going to succumb to Rhonda Dort's sew along although I went so far as to post a link about it on my blog. So tell me - why do I find myself creating the very blocks I had NO plans of doing???

Great start for a non-player! Hahahaha!!! Your HLC blocks are very pretty and, if it helps to clean up the scrap bins, RSC participation is a good thing. Here we go, 2021!
