I've really been laid low by some cold/flu thing all week. For sure not Covid -- tests negative -- but whatever bug this was really got me. The cancer meds I take are immunosuppressant, so when something hits me, I get pretty overwhelmed. My monthly labwork is jazzled up, but I'm slowly improving.
Nick and family arriving from Boston tomorrow for their long Thanksgiving visit, so nothing creative will be happening here for a while. I haven't seen Rhiannon since last November -- can't wait!

So sorry you've been sick!! Huge relief that it isn't covid, although it's best to re-test several times to be sure. Our #2 son and DIL had a vicious bug and tested several times each time showing negative until several days in when it suddenly turned positive. They were sure they had it but couldn't tell for certain.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you've been sick, Jeanne. From others I know people on cancer drugs have to be so careful about coming into contact with germs, viruses, etc. But it's so hard to do when they're invisible!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling well enough to have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!
Jeanne, I'm truly sorry you are sick. Six weeks ago my husband and I thought we had a bad cold and flu. We've had flu shots but still thought we had the flu. It took us 7 days before we tested positive for Covid. I said a prayer this is not the case with you. Please rest, even when you feel better. Be extra kind with yourself and take it easy.
