Possible new starts for me in the next few months might include:
January - Half log cabin hearts, lap size, reds and pinks, for February kitchen wall -- I'm itching to get going on this one but need to control myself until after the holidays (guests will be staying in my sewing room so it needs to be picked up and tidy, not ransacked and in a hurricane-like mess!)
It's also likely that I will begin my guild's new BOM in January. And possibly Barbara Brackman's new Civil War BOM series -- I'll have to see how that one looks before I commit to it. The 2014 Rainbow Scrap Challenge and the 2014 Crazy Quilt Journal Project are also on my January agenda.

February - Home Circle, queen size, I'll use greens and tans to make a quilt for my master bedroom. Inspiration: a vintage quilt like this, but I might not use sashing, might just do a block-to-block set. This will be a large project, so I hope to get started on it early, before February if possible.
**********
March - Right now, I'm reserving March as sort of a free-play month. I do have some scrappy 30s basket blocks that have been waiting for my attention, and they could make a nice Easter/springtime quilt. But we'll see what mood I'm in come March -- maybe something else will catch my eye. I want to intentionally leave room in my schedule for creative spontaneity.
**********
April - It will be time to get started on a Christmas quilt: Ruby Red Dots, project as per book. I'm collecting fabrics now. I'll start by appliqueing two blocks per month and plan to finish the whole shebang for December.
**********
May - Tentatively: Lincoln's Watch by Paula Barnes of Bonnie Blue Quilts, scrappy autumn colors.
**********
This is as much as I'm going to plan for now. I'll think about the second half of the year later in spring, after I see how these projects seem to be working out.

You have some great quilts planned! I am also thinking about joining a couple of BOMs, haven't done it before and worry about becoming bored with them as the progress will be so slow.
Enjoy your company. Merry Christmas.
Beartiful choices. I especially like January. Good old log cabins.
Those will be beautiful quilts. Great selections. Jane
That's a great plan for the starting of the year. The Half logcabin is just awesome. I don't blame you for wanting to start on it right away.
I would have been tempted too :-)
Ruby Red Dot is great - It is one of my UFO's - I'm doing it in cottons and wool. Have fun with all your projects.
oooo - Ruby Red Dots.... Lincoln's Watch... I want to do those, too! :D
Great projects! I especially love Lincoln's Watch. That one might just need to go on my "someday" list.
