RSC18: January - light blue

I finally got going this week on some actual blue scraps!  I didn't come up with much in the way of very light blue, but these bright blue 30s scraps were happy to participate.

I cut as many parts as possible from each fabric piece for several block styles.  The blue parts will be combined with red 30s scraps to make an assorted-sampler-style quilt.  This project will wander along slowly, but at least I'm in the game this month for RSC Blue :)

I also assembled another group of mountain sections for the Mountain Meadow quilt.

See more RSC activity at Scraphappy Saturday.

These are each so different and I like both. The blue and red reminds me of quilts from when I was growing up - I'm vintage. :)

Lots of bright and happy blues. Looks like you are already putting them to good use.
