Block work

 Weather report HERE
Our bad weather gave me the chance to spend some quality time in the sewing room yesterday!  We have about 30" of snow on the ground this morning, and will still get a bit more before the week is over.

First, I did this row for a scrappy R x R swap I'm in this year.  Rules are: anything goes as long as it's six 10" blocks.  I chose to use 1800s/traditional fabrics, but have no idea what the subsequent rows will be like (seven participants all together).
We'll see what I end up with in August ...

Then I did this block set for Month 1 of my guild's
2016 Sew-Along.  This will be a five-month project.  The black prints are the background here.

And a second set of the same thing, this time using scrappy leftovers from my Stars in a Time Warp fabrics.  The light is the background for this version.
