I've chosen an easy project for this month's NewFO challenge.
My inspiration was this picture of an antique quilt:
I cut a stack of calico bricks and muslin bricks the other day, and got a good start this afternoon with sewing.
I should get this top done within the next few days.

I do like this design - simple but so effective and love the fabrics you've chosen - another one to store away for future reference
