Slow Stitching Sunday

This week I added the crazy patches and  got started on the embellishment embroidery for my dove block.  So far my CQJP2014 project is developing just as I'd planned.

I find that winter weather makes my hands extra dry, so the fine threads of the embroidery floss tend to catch and snag on my rough skin.  Slathers of shea butter lotion help smooth the way.

Yes... that is my problem too with the threads and fabric getting snagged on my skin. I must try Shea Butter... seems like that's a popular remedy.
Enjoy your slow stitching today and thanks for linking up!

I use old fashion bag balm, but it is important to help our hands this time of year. Love you stitches on your crazy quilt block.
