This week's block is Cotton Boll, an easy one. Barbara Brackman's article this week refers to the shortage of cotton fabric in the South during the Civil War. Not that there's a shortage of fabric hereabouts :), but it made me think about the way our quilt fabric prices are rising.

Your blocks are beautiful! It was great to see them all laid out together. I am really enjoying this project, especially the stories that Barbara writes about. I am a bit behind but will catch up.
