A comfort quilt

A couple of weeks ago, one of our Busy Bears Guild members was diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease. The guild quickly collected hug blocks, assembled a top, and quilted it up. The back is soft cuddly minkee. I did the binding this weekend, and now it goes onward for a label. It will be delivered later this week.

I hope this quilt will provide warm memories and comfort to Judy as she faces her difficult journey.

Oh, I am glad you all did that. My mother died of ALS...she will need this wonderful loving quilt to hold her...many prayers for her.

I am sure she will love it and be comforted by it in the days ahead. Snuggly minky on the back - what a wonderful idea! A nice, warm, soft hug indeed. Cheers! Evelyn
