Off to a good start

We're just about finished taking down the holiday decorations and settling into quiet wintertime. This is a photo from New Year's Eve -- the torchlight parade at our local ski slope, reeeeally pretty to see in the dark, cold, still night!

I spent a little time in my sewing room today. Got the first block of the year pieced for Friday Block Party. It's called Wheel of Time, a nice choice for New Year's week. It'll be used with my other green and tan 12" blocks.

I'm also up and running with my B-a-D 2010 project!

Torchlight parade? Is it a huge line of people? Pretty cool.

Great blocks!
I have tried to sign up for the block party but can't figure it out...not very computer savvy!
I enjoyed reading about your goals for this year.

Wow! What a great start to a new year! I love your FBP block! And the B-a-D blocks look very interesting. I have been feeling a bit under the weather - sinuses and head aches. But now you have inspired me! I must get to my sewing room and do some creating. Thanks!
